Creative Project

To support students in engineering or design activities, it will take a series of courses called Creative Project (1, 2, 3, and 4) and Capstone Design over several semesters. In these courses, students are required to create a prototype device, including preparing a proposal, schematic design, system design, prototype development, and documentation. Through these activities, students are expected to become accustomed to design and research processes, which will be beneficial when working on their thesis. The outputs of these creative projects can also be submitted to competitions outside UNS. At the end of each semester, the results of the Creative Project and Capstone Design are exhibited at the “EL Semar” event. During this event, the works of Electrical Engineering students are showcased to the public and covered by the media. In addition to motivating students to be creative, this exhibition is also intended to help them develop soft skills in presentation and communication.
