Final Project

The Final Project (TA) in the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (FT UNS) is one of the requirements for completing the study and earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree. The TA can consist of one or a combination of the following activities:

a. Field case studies (systems to solve industrial problems, research problems (exploring limitations/assumptions), proposing technology, providing benefits, and adding features).
b. Applications/experiments.
c. Computing, programming, and/or modeling (simulation).
d. Design/construction/creation of tools/systems.

The TA topic concerns systems used to generate solutions or solve problems (e.g., industrial problems, research problems (exploring limitations/assumptions), proposing technology, providing benefits, or adding features).

In accordance with the Vision and Mission of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (FT UNS), the TA has the following objectives:

a. Producing graduates who are morally upright, professional, highly competitive, and independent, capable of providing scientific and analytical solutions to problems encountered, and capable of developing themselves to meet future challenges.
b. Produce research findings of local, national, regional, and international standing.
c. Produce community service works based on the application of science and technology.

In the Electrical Engineering Study Program, the Final Project (TA) is worth 4 (four) credits. Undergraduate students’ TAs are specific, meaning the topic and content of the TA must be distinct from each other. If there are identical TA topics or content, this can be classified as plagiarism and may be subject to sanctions.

A special award or reward, in the form of an automatic A grade without a final exam (only completing the Examination Report process), will be awarded directly to students if they meet the following requirements:

a. Winning a PIMNAS 7 gold medal
b. Submitting an Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) application
c. Publication in a Nationally Accredited Journal (accepted notification)
d. Publication in a SCOPUS-Indexed Journal (accepted notification)
