Welcome Speech from the Head of the Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Program
On behalf of all teaching staff, administrative staff and students, I would like to welcome you to the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Sebelas Maret University.
The vision of the Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program is to become an excellent study program in the field of Electrical Engineering, covering aspects of educational activities, research and community service, based on the noble values of national culture.
Our study program was established in 2014. Currently, the study program has 12 teaching staff, 148 students and 2 education staff.
Initially, we had four areas of expertise, including 1) Electrical Energy Systems, 2) Electronic Signal Systems, 3) Mechatronic Systems and 4) Computer Systems and Informatics. Currently, in 2019, the areas of expertise offered include 1) Electrical Power Engineering, 2) Control and Mechatronics, and 3) Computer Engineering and Telecommunications. Our curriculum program refers to the Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering which is designed to provide students with a strong background in mathematics and basic sciences, power systems engineering, control and mechatronics, and computer and telecommunications engineering.
Our study program is committed to producing graduates who are able to design, develop, implement and analyze problems in the field of electrical engineering.
