Surakarta — The Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), organized the 2026 International Conference on Sustainable Energy, Mobility, and Advanced Robotics (ICSEMAR), featuring keynote sessions and workshops. The event served as a platform for academics, researchers, and students to share knowledge and discuss research developments in the field of technology.
During the keynote sessions, three speakers discussed various innovations, ranging from the development of battery technology and energy storage systems, the reliability of sustainable power systems, to the application of artificial intelligence in medical image analysis. These topics highlighted the role of technology in addressing challenges in the fields of energy, the environment, and healthcare.
The series of events continued with a scientific journal writing workshop, which covered strategies for scientific publication, systematic article preparation, and the importance of research contributions and novelty. Participants also gained an understanding of the editorial process and the responsible use of artificial intelligence in academic writing.
The conference concluded with information regarding the next steps for paper submission through the EDAS platform, followed by an awards presentation for selected participants.
Through ICSEMAR 2026, the Electrical Engineering Study Program at UNS hopes to strengthen academic collaboration, improve the quality of scientific publications, and encourage the development of technological innovations that benefit society.
